Emma Crosby to act as facilitator for KBB Industry Conference 2024

The KBSA has announced a new date and a new facilitator for the KBB Industry Conference 2024. Broadcast journalist Emma Crosby, pictured, will facilitate the conference which will take place on 9th October 2024, with the theme of 'Empowering & Enhancing Excellence'. The event will return to the Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands.

KBSA chair Richard Hibbert said: “We anticipate that we will have another sell out year so advise retailers save the date and register their interest with the KBSA to secure a place. We are building on the success of last year with a strong programme designed to provide thought provoking and relevant content, which will enhance business performance.”

The new facilitator Emma Crosby presented Channel 5’s flagship news programme for 5 years and is a familiar voice on LBC radio, Sky News and CNBC. Before anchoring 5 News, Crosby co-presented the popular ITV breakfast show GMTV and also spent several years as presenter with Sky News.

The KBSA will once again be welcoming non KBSA retailers. Richard Hibbert said: “We had such great feedback last year from non-members that attended. Not only did they benefit from the presentations but enjoyed the opportunity to experience the strength and support that comes from being a part of the KBSA.”

The programme for the day will follow last year’s format with extended breaks to allow time for networking and for delegates to visit the business services exhibition and advice surgery. This includes trusted suppliers and covers topics such as finance, credit card processing, HR and legal, health and wellbeing.

The event will include the retailer dinner on the evening before the conference – Tuesday 8th October. The Awards dinner will follow the conference on Wednesday 9th October.
