Novy, the luxury Belgian induction, extraction and lighting brand, was the recipient of a Best of KBIS Silver Award 2024 at KBIS, the international kitchen and bathroom trade show in Las Vegas. Winning in the category of ‘Game-changing Innovation’, the award was for for the Novy Shelf Pro, the most advanced model from the brand’s Designer Lighting Collection.
The Novy Shelf Pro is a stylish minimalist kitchen shelf featuring LED illumination with patented touch-free Gesture Control Pro technology. This enables the user to activate, adjust the intensity, direction and position of the light beam by using intuitive hand gestures beneath a smart sensor. The beam can be directed above and below the shelf, changing from task lighting to warmer ambient hues, or to a palette of different colours above the shelf. Made entirely from recycled materials, the Shelf Pro is available in a range of widths from 90cm up to 300cm.
Having entered the UK market in 2018, as part of Novy’s international export programme, Novy has recently launched in the US as part of Middleby Residential’s portfolio of brands. The export programme is led by Owain Harrison, business and brand development director, Novy NV, with plans to launch in Australia and South America during 2024 and into 2025.
