Porcelain surface manufacturer Laminam has added 4 new marble-inspired designs to its flagship I Naturali collection. Joining the range are Calacatta Viola, Taj Mahal, Marmorea Bruna, and Calacatta Brecciato, which the company says have been introduced ahead of schedule as a result of ‘strong early demand’ and to ‘capitalise on stock availability’.

Available in 12mm thickness and polished and Naturale Matt finishes, Calacatta Viola is described as a bold, expressive surface with an ivory base and rich veining in amaranth, purple and bronze. Taj Mahal comes in 12mm and 20mm thicknesses and a selection of finishes and combines creamy undertones with flowing light brown and white veining. A deep, chocolatey brown surface with delicate white veining and a smooth matt texture, Marmorea Bruna comes in 12mm and 20mm thicknesses and Naturale Matt finish, while Calacatta Brecciato has a creamy background and golden-toned veining.

Gavin Shaw, MD of Laminam UK, said: “We’re seeing 2 strong design directions emerge for 2025. There’s a growing appetite for bold, expressive surfaces like Calacatta Viola and Marmorea Bruna that make a statement and allow for architectural storytelling through book-matching and continuous veining. At the same time, designers are leaning into soft, warm and organic patterns like Taj Mahal and Calacatta Brecciato. There’s also a real demand for surfaces that feel closer to natural stone – not just visually, but texturally too. These new additions offer that tactile beauty while still delivering the durability, hygiene and sustainability credentials that Laminam is known for.”
