Miele reveals the winner of its £125,000 Anniversary Competition
Premium appliance manufacturer Miele has announced the winner of its 'Long Story Short: 125 Years of Quality' competition, held to celebrate Miele’s 125th anniversary and offering one lucky consumer the chance to win a prize of £125,000.
From 1st May 2024 to 30th April 2025, customers who purchased any Miele appliance were eligible to enter the competition via the promotional website. The campaign was promoted via national paid social media, online and in-store point of sale and limited-edition models, all designed to raise awareness, drive customer engagement, incentivise sales and highlight this Miele milestone. The winner, Mrs Christie from Greater Manchester, was overjoyed to receive the news that she had won.
Mrs Christie commented, “I am a person who has entered several competitions and never wins anything, so I was surprised and shocked when I was notified that I had won. All I did was purchase a new tumble dryer to match my existing Miele washing machine. Thank you Miele for making my day with this life-changing news!”
In addition to the grand prize, Miele offered monthly prizes to consumers, including £150 and £250 vouchers redeemable against Miele products. The grand competition and monthly prizes were open to customers across the UK and ROI.
