Sirius appoints Adrian Howes as head of supplier development

Sirius Buying Group, the buying group in the electrical appliance and kitchen retail sectors, has welcomed Adrian Howes to its team as its new head of supplier development.

Adrian will work with Sirius on a part-time basis and brings almost 35 years of experience as an MDA buyer including time with Apollo 2000 and most recently at Hughes, one of the UK’s largest independents. Over the years, Adrian has developed a strong track record in product selection, pricing, range building, and building supplier relationships. 

In his new role, Adrian will focus on strengthening relationships with a selection of approved suppliers and distributors, as well as securing exclusive pricing, enhanced terms, and increased promotional opportunities for Sirius Members.

Adrian said: “I plan to use my years of experience and knowledge and focus on several suppliers throughout the group to ensure the very best products and deals are available to our network of independent retailers."
