ASKO marks 75th anniversary at IFA 2025 with raft of new product launches

Scandinavian appliance brand ASKO marked its 75th anniversary at IFA 2025, which took place in Berlin from 5th - 9th September, by showcasing what it describes as ‘its strongest line-up to date’.

Paying homage to the first washing machine invented in 1950, the brand introduced the new generation of Scandinavian Laundry Care 2.0 appliances, featuring two signature technologies: Steel Seal™ and Quattro Construction™ 2.0. Alongside these, ASKO also unveiled other key innovations, including the Celsius ovens, designed for precise culinary performance, and the Nordic Fresh™ 2.0 refrigeration range.

For the first time, ASKO presented a fully connected product portfolio powered by the ConnectLife app. A special tribute to ASKO’s design heritage was highlighted with Eero Aarnio’s iconic Ball Chair, pictured, and a visit from his granddaughter, Milena Törmi. To further celebrate this milestone, ASKO hosted an exclusive press day, bringing together leading media representatives from around the world, and live cooking demonstrations with the Michelin-starred chef Wilfrid Hocquet and sommelier Valentin Bufolin.
