Roca Group UK & Ireland promotes Matt Lake to head of product & supply

Roca Group UK & Ireland has announced the promotion of Matt Lake to the role of head of product & supply, following the upcoming retirement of long-serving head of product, Mark Winfield.

Matt joined Roca Group more than 11 years ago as inventory manager, a role in which he successfully guided the evolution of stock control systems and processes to support the business’s growth. His new position will see him take on responsibility for UK product management across all brands, while also maintaining oversight of stock control, with the newly appointed inventory manager reporting directly to him.

Matt said: “I’ve really enjoyed the inventory manager role. Our stock-related processes have grown and evolved a fair bit in that time and I’ve relished that challenge. With Mark soon retiring, I was excited about the opportunity to step into this position. It’s a great chance to help both product management and stock control work closely together.”

Matt is particularly looking forward to developing a deeper understanding of Roca’s product portfolio, working hands-on with ranges across the business, and ensuring strong alignment between product and stock management. He also sees close collaboration with the sales team as a key priority, helping to drive growth across all areas of the business.
