Boiling water tap specialist Quooker is highlighting its environmental and social progress, as shown in its most recent sustainability report, from water conservation and energy savings to circular product design and global clean water access.

Through its longstanding partnership with the Made Blue Foundation, Quooker’s ‘Litre for a Litre’ initiative has now donated 3.65 billion litres of clean drinking water to communities in need since 2015 – equivalent to providing over 50 million people with water for a day.

The report also reveals how UK households are actively reducing their carbon footprint by switching to Quooker’s energy-efficient tap systems.

A Quooker tap with a COMBI system can help a household save more than 4000 litres of waterper year.
Energy savings of up to 35% are now being achieved across key products, rising to 50% with the COMBI tank.
Almost 23,000 UK households have used Quooker’s Sustainability Check tool to track and reduce their water and energy usage.

A single Quooker tap can make a genuine difference in the home but when used at scale, it becomes part of a much bigger sustainability story. The potential impact on water conservation and energy use across the UK is huge,” said Stephen Johnson, MD of Quooker UK & Ireland.

Looking ahead, Quooker says it is scaling up its ambitions for 2030 with a bold target to increase energy savings per household by 200%, driven by improved product efficiency.
