Harvey Jones opens Cambridge showroom after extensive refurbishment
Hand-crafted kitchens specialist Harvey Jones has officially re-opened the doors of its Cambridge showroom following an extensive refurbishment. Located on 44 Regent Street in the heart of Cambridge, the redesigned space is said to showcase the brand’s dedication to bespoke design, quality and innovation.
It is one of 7 transformed locations as part of Harvey Jones’ investment into upgrades across its network of showrooms and closely follows the reopening of its Harrogate showroom.
The 725sq ft showroom now boasts 3 full size kitchen displays, laundry area, coffee station, media unit and home office.
Visitors are met with a large kitchen island in Harvey Jones’ Slim Shaker design upon entry in a rich black tone topped with a striking Lewiston Black and Ardesio Nero worktop. To the side is a coffee station in racing green, followed by traditional Shaker designs for a breakfast bar area in a neutral salt colour. A striking aubergine kitchen in one of Harvey Jones’ most popular designs, Hampton, creates warmth and impact paired with Hendel & Hendel dark brushed brass handles.
In contrast, the Arbor event kitchen offers a more minimalist look, showcasing bespoke storage and contemporary detailing with bar handles. New range extensions are displayed throughout the showroom, including Harvey Jones' stone worktops, Lewiston Black and L’Aria, as well as bespoke pocket doors and contemporary handleless cabinetry.
A design lounge, which is a new concept for the location, has been fitted with live mood boarding for thorough 1-on-1 kitchen design and planning. The showroom features partner brands Ca’ Pietra, Clemo & Finch, Hendel & Hendel, Calacatta and Laminam.
Haga Hassan, designer at Harvey Jones and of the Cambridge showroom, commented: “Opening the doors to our newly designed Cambridge showroom is a fantastic feeling, we’ve created a truly stunning space. Visitors will get to witness the beautiful designs we’re able to create for their homes complete with personalised touches to suit their way of living.
“We’re increasingly finding that our clients want solutions that make their kitchen work harder, like space saving storage, functional islands, large pantries that hide the mess of every-day life, or laundries that blend into the design of the space. At Harvey Jones, all of our clients begin with a 1-on-1 design consultation, and finish with a handmade, thoughtfully designed kitchen that’s built for life and our new design lounge is the perfect place to start.”
