Kast, the UK-based design house known for its bold and beautifully crafted concrete basins, has updated its Holm collection. Originally celebrated for its elegant terrazzo inserts, Holm now offers a fresh level of personalisation with mix-and-match options that include plain concrete inserts alongside terrazzo, giving designers and homeowners greater freedom to create unique combinations.
Each basin in the Holm collection — Anno, Nema, and Mesa — can now be customised with up to two colours per unit, further enhancing its versatility. Customers can select from Kast’s signature 28-colour palette, allowing them to craft a basin that complements their space. Whether opting for a bold terrazzo insert or a more minimalist plain alternative, the updated Holm collection aims to strike the perfect balance between sophisticated style and functional design.
Amy Bartlett, creative director at Kast, which was acquired by American bathroom giant Kohler in 2023, said: “This refresh is about giving people more creative control. By offering the option of plain concrete inserts in either matching or contrasting colours, each basin can become a more personalised expression of a space. We wanted to build on what people already loved about Holm – its balance of boldness and refinement – and give even more freedom to express that in new and individual ways.”
Designed with versatility in mind, the removable insert not only offers a distinctive visual feature but also cleverly conceals the basin waste for a seamless look. Whether terrazzo or plain, inserts are easy to lift out for straightforward cleaning and maintenance.
