Shock and sadness at news of KBB industry legend Andy Bishop's passing
InstallerSHOW has announced the sudden passing of its inspirational content consultant, event and exhibition expert Andy Bishop.
In a statement on LinkedIn, it said: "It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Andy Bishop. Andy was truly one of a kind – full of life, fun, and passion in everything he did. His energy and dedication brought warmth and positivity to every day.
"Andy worked on InstallerSHOW’s kitchens content for the last two years, successfully leading this growing section of the event with creativity and a zest for life. We know how loved and respected he was by everyone who worked with him, who appreciated both his expertise and humour.
"Andy will be deeply missed, both professionally and personally, by all who had the privilege to know him. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who worked alongside him over the years.
"Rest in peace, Andy – you will never be forgotten."
Prior to working on InstallerSHOW, Andy worked for industry trade show KBB Birmingham. In his role at InstallerSHOW he played a key role in developing the newly introduced kitchen element of the show, which was launched in 2024. He also wrote several articles for KBBFocus highlighting what kitchen specialists could gain from visiting Installer Kitchens & Bathrooms.
